Greentube´s hotly anticipated annual Company Day was celebrated on June 12th, with our colleagues taking the opportunity to bathe themselves both in brilliant sunshine as well as good vibes! More than 270 colleagues from around the world came together for an action-packed day full of fun and excitement, as employees from Greentube subsidiaries Funstage GmbH, Greentube Malta, Platogo, Cervo Media, SoWhat, Dazzletag, AbZorba Games and BlueBat Games all joined in the festivities.
The Vienna City Beach Club, situated on the brilliantly blue Danube, was the venue of this year´s Company Day. After an energizing breakfast, each colleague was off to immerse themselves in one of the day’s many stimulating activities. The agenda included, amongst others, beach volleyball, street basketball and bubble soccer. All the water lovers had a chance to test their balance at paddle boarding, or at building their team spirit by competing against each other in a dragon boat race.
Other highlights of the day included the brushing up of our marksmanship skills with laser clay pigeon shooting, and the exploration of the beautiful Donauinsel as part of a geocaching exercise.
All groups met up together again in the afternoon for a delicious lunch buffet, which served to re-energize the competitors between their chosen activities. Besides the events, there were plenty of deckchairs waiting in the warm sand, inviting us to spend several relaxing hours regaling one another with tales of the accomplishments from various activities.
In the evening, dinner was followed by the tunes provided by a summer beach party DJ, and the Danube was alive late into the night with the sounds of dancing, laughing and celebrating. Thanks to our HR team for their hard work and fantastic organization of this successful and memorable Company Day 2015.
